ESQUE MUST DIE

Esque is short for Esqueleto, which means "skeleton". They pronounce it "ess-kay", but you can say whatever you want.

Esque is an illustrator, printmaker, graphic designer, death positivity advocate, and street artist currently working in Portland, Oregon.

Their work is inspired by medieval history, the tarot, street art, punk rock, classic tattooing, the occult, and religious imagery.

They believe that death reflection is extremely healthy, and should be encouraged. Through the understanding and internalizing of our own mortality, we become more alive. Through art, we can address a common fear of the unknown.
